RFID Journal Live is the RFID industry's flagship annual gathering, bringing together the people building and deploying RAIN RFID across retail, logistics and manufacturing. For Pinnpoint, it was a chance to talk about a slightly different way of thinking about RFID in the shipping process.
RFID in the document, not a separate tag
Much of the show-floor conversation still centred on tagging as its own step. Pinnpoint's angle was to embed the UHF inlay directly into the sheeted label or document a team already prints — so the tag arrives as part of the shipping paperwork rather than as an extra operation.

The recurring theme in those conversations was practicality: teams want the visibility RFID promises, but not the friction of bolting a new process onto an already busy bench. Building the inlay into the existing document is one way to close that gap.
