How Pinnpoint collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our website, contact us, or place an order.

This Privacy Policy explains how Pinnpoint (“Pinnpoint”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit our website, use our live chat, complete a form, or purchase our products and services. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

We automatically collect device and usage information, including your IP address, browser type, time zone, the pages and products you view, and the website or search term that referred you. We refer to this as “Device Information”, and we collect it using cookies, log files and similar technologies (see section 4).
We collect the details you provide, which may include your first and last name, company, address, city, country, postal code, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
We collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, payment details (processed securely by our payment provider) and, if you create an account, your account credentials. We refer to order-related data as “Order Information”.

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law. For example, we retain order and invoice records (including name, email address and billing and shipping addresses) for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Enquiry and sample-request data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to request that it be corrected, updated, restricted, ported or deleted, and to object to certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority — for example, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands, or Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) in Sweden.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is not yet an agreed industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and our practices may not change when we receive one.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
